For Chicago North Siders & residents of the North Shore, my downtown Evanston photography studio location is very conveniently located in an enjoyable area to visit. Both Metra & CTA trains and 6 Pace/CTA bus routes provide stops only 1 ½ blocks from my photo studio; there is ample 2 hour metered street parking for $2.00 & nearby city parking garages with rates of $1.00 per hour.

Mike Canale Photography customers from areas further south or west have also found it quicker and easier to visit my Evanston photo studio, via Lake Shore Drive/Sheridan Road or expressway routes, compared to exiting into and navigating Chicago neighborhood traffic jams, and dealing with the outrageous cost and general lack of parking.

Fact Check: Evanston is not the boonies. Evanston borders the north edge of Chicago along Lake Michigan’s shoreline; stand on the south side of Howard Street, you’re in Chicago – stand on the north side, you’re in Evanston. Familiar Chicago north/south streets continue into Evanston (some of the names change); for example: Chicago’s Clark St. becomes Chicago Ave in Evanston, Western Ave becomes Asbury Ave, California Ave becomes Dodge Ave – Sheridan Road, Ridge Ave and McCormick Blvd continue into Evanston, name unchanged.
